Inspiration can come from anywhere and so, I’m starting a ‘read as you go’, non-fiction book club. Eight challenging non-fiction reads from May to December.
There are no self-help or fiction books on the list. Instead, we slow read for X, where X is truly the unknown.
We will meet every month, till the end of the year and talk about the writer, how they researched these tomes, and what we can take away from our reads.
I would love for you to accompany me on this journey. You may decide to read one of the books or all of them. Read as you go.
I will ply the group with inspiration – related and unrelated podcasts, Spotify playlists etc. Let’s be realistic – reading about, say, the World War, is not going to be ‘fun’ but I believe that there is a lot one can learn from reading about these subjects and often the best ideas come from unusual spaces.
If you would like to join, drop me a note with subject line ‘I want to Slow Read for X’ at firstname.lastname@example.org
P.S: Afterwards, I will send you a postcard with notes from the book.
